Our U19 players & their Northern Lions team are now also in Phase 2 of their season and playing against teams from the French part of Switzerland.

The first game v. Lausanne Rugby School was very difficult and the team lost 38-0 despite strong performances from Jack & Jamie representing Basel.

The second game of Phase 2 and the last game before the winter break was a completely different story. The Lions came out blazing & scored 3 early tries. Geneva fought back strongly and after a nail-biting finish, the Lions ran out winners 31-27!

Jamie & Jack showed-up very strongly again and Charlie won a deserved man-of-the-match award for his performance at full-back. You can watch the match here!!

A couple of weeks of training remain for our Colts and then they'll head into winter break with games resuming in March.

Unsere U19-Spieler und ihr Team Northern Lions befinden sich nun ebenfalls in Phase 2 ihrer Saison und spielen gegen Teams aus der Westschweiz.

Das erste Spiel gegen die Lausanne Rugby School war sehr schwierig und das Team verlor trotz starker Leistungen von Jack & Jamie, die Basel repräsentierten, mit 0:38.

Das zweite Spiel der Phase 2 und das letzte Spiel vor der Winterpause war eine ganz andere Geschichte. Die Lions kamen flammend heraus und erzielten 3 frühe Versuche. Genf schlug stark zurück und nach einem spannenden Finish gingen die Lions mit 31-27 als Sieger hervor!

Jamie & Jack zeigten sich erneut sehr stark und Charlie gewann für seine Leistung als Full-Back einen verdienten Man-of-the-Match-Preis. Sie können das Spiel hier ansehen!!
