Gegen Ende der Saison...
...haben viele Clubs Mühe, genügend Spieler für ein Spiel zusammen zu kriegen. So erging es unserer ersten Mannschaft auswärts gegen Nyon. Verletzungen und Sperren sorgten dafür, dass Cheftrainer Andy Kendall gerade mal 16 Spieler zur Verfügung hatte. Das Resultat scheint so den Erwartungen zu entsprechen: Nyon gewann mit 38:7. Hätten unsere Spieler ihr Spiel durchgezogen und sich nicht das Spiel des Gegners aufzwingen lassen, wäre vielleicht sogar mindestens ein Punkt möglich gewesen. Immerhin erzielte unsere Jungs den schönsten Versuch des Spiels, durch Goran Benko nach brillianter Vorarbeit durch Lucas Quintillan.

Rückschlag
Auch das Future Team fuhr nur mit einer Rumpfmannschaft zu den Bishops in St. Gallen - und bei den Ostschweizern setzte es eine 5:41-Niederlage ab. Für die Resultatkosmetik sorgte Michel Georgy mit seinem Versuch.

Towards the end...
...of the season many clubs are having trouble finding enough players for a match. Our 1st XV was no exception when tey played Nyon away on Sunday. Due to injuries and suspensions chead coach various Andy Kendall had just 16 players available.  Thus the result seems no surprise: Nyon won 38-7. However, had our players played their game instead of trying to beat the opposition at their game, maybe one point (minimum) could have been possible. At least our 1st XV scored the best try of the match, made by Lucas Quintillan with a brilliant kick through Nyon's defense, with Goran Benko grounding the ball.

Setback
The Future Team had to travel to St. Gallen with a sceleton squad as well - and the Bishops used that advantage to win this match 41-5. At least Michel Georgy scored a consolation try for the Future Team.
